Strategy

Asset Management, Property Management, Financial Management, Information Technology, Real Estate Development & Financing, HUD Programs and Subsidies, RAD.  To remain strategically competitive or to be able to use revenues/funding efficiently and effectively, affordable housing organizations have to consider all of these areas.  Leadership must be able to provide oversight and direction and to define and move the organization through a vision and possible retooling of the organization/individuals.  The organization must be financially sustainable with appropriate capacity, means to be viable and understand options forlong term sustainability.  Process Management through staff responsibilities, policies and procedures that reflect the current business and adequate infrastructure such as information technology hardware and applications must be established/maintained/adjusted.  Underlying all of this is communication, to the Board, Staff and Community.
