DLS operates with a core staff situated around the country and utilizes a network of highly skilled and accomplished professionals. We are adept at working remotely using technology to communicate day-to-day activity or present materials to accomplish goals where in-house/on-site presence may not be possible. DLS’ Managing Member and Project Director, Diana Smith, has over 20 years’ experience in affordable housing and other staff have over 15 years of experience in the industry. The areas of strategic improvement could include housing management operations, Section 8 Programs, Capital Programs, Financial Management and organizational structure. Based on our experience with HUD’s Capital Fund Financing Program and RAD/Real Estate Development and the Business Operational changes required for successful implementation, sustainability and growth, DLS can provide a strategy to make administrative and programmatic improvements.
The DLS team has assisted Boards of PHAs, not-for-profits and other subsidiary organizations with their governance responsibilities by preparing information for their review and/or approval, along with coordinating with their other technical advisors.
